About Jim Rodgers

​

​Mr. Rodgers artistic aim is to create in a painterly, impressionistic style set forth in a contemporary sense.  He attempts to portray the world before him through his poetic renderings in his landscapes, still life/ florals and tranche de vie (genre) paintings. His passion for travel has brought him across America and off to Europe on numerous occasions. Mr. Rodgers desire to give the viewer a glimpse of this world he sees en plein air and recreates back in the confines of his studio will bring the sojourns he has experienced first hand to the art world in his own personal way.

Mr. Rodgers has been affiliated with the Salmagundi Club in New York City and the Delaware Art Museum. He has also received numerous awards including:
